I was encouraged to see so many people committed to helping change the story around unplanned pregnancy! We prayed that God would bring just the right people; He truly answered those prayers.
I was so motivated as Gabe Lyons spoke about “the way to change culture is to create a NEW culture.” And, I loved Angie Ochoa’s description of the new culture she found at Caris: “They opened my eyes to the possibility of dreaming. This new light of acceptance and not judgment inspired me to begin dreaming of an education and a future again. This freedom to change my own story spread into every area of my life from my education to my parenting to my spiritual life.”
Throughout the evening, I was struck by the way God continues to reveal His plan to change this story to all of us. I’m so grateful for all who are partnering with Caris through your prayers, time, and financial support.
It truly is A New Day – a day of compassion, solutions and transformation!
Blessings,
